Food For Thought has several volunteer opportunities to participate in to help our community efforts. From packing backpacks of food for children to helping out with food distribution, there's something for everyone to do! Individual and group volunteer opportunities are available in Okaloosa and Walton county. With volunteer duties and shifts that fit every availability and schedule, it's easier than ever to take part in this incredible community effort.

Just one hour of your time can make a difference!
Whether you want to volunteer once a week, once a month, or just once a year, your time can make an impact on children in our community. We can customize your volunteer experience to be beneficial to the time you have to give.
Ready to volunteer?
We will setup a time for you to come to our facility to fill out volunteer paperwork and get setup with training. In-person training is required, but you’ll be placed with a staff member to learn the ropes. Training is volunteering!
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers needed for Friday Morning Delivery and Distribution of services to our schools in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. After your in-person training, we will handle the logistics and can schedule you to deliver and distribute food at a school close to your location to maximize your volunteering time. You can be in and out in as little as 40 minutes!
